Wedding gown preservation, done the slow way.
We've boxed gowns for brides who walked down the aisle in 1962 and brides who got married last Saturday. Every gown is hand-cleaned, inspected stitch-by-stitch, wrapped in acid-free tissue, and sealed in a museum-grade box you can open in fifty years and not find a yellow mark.
We also handle christening gowns, military uniforms, and the occasional theatrical costume.

Every piece is quoted at drop-off so we can look at the fabric, lining and any spots. The 'from' prices on this page are starting points for clean, simple pieces — heavy beading, silk linings or stains move the number up. No surprises at pickup.
Often, yes. Tell us what you remember — when, what you were eating or drinking, and whether anyone has tried to clean it already. Heat-set stains and old set-in marks are the hardest, but we'll be honest before we start.
Free pickup and delivery within Murray Hill, Kips Bay and Midtown East for orders over $40. Schedule by phone or in person — we're old-school about it on purpose.
Right after the wedding is best, while everything is still fresh. Preservation takes 2–3 weeks. If it's been sitting for a while, bring it anyway — we've worked on gowns that were boxed up decades ago.
Yes. Same-day on shirts and most everyday pieces if dropped off before 9am. Rush on coats and tailoring depends on the work — call ahead.
